Just a few more days...

Well, just a few more days and we'll be headed home. Mixed feelings...it sure is good to look forward to getting home but at the same time, hard to leave vacation behind and think about getting into the swing of things again. If I am being perfectly honest, though, a schedule doesn't seem half bad at the moment. Seems like schedules get tossed to the wind when we are on vacation. Matter of fact, it is right now 9:53 p.m. and both my children are still awake! Tired, yes, but still awake.

We have had a great time so far. It's been different from summer vacations for sure. The weather has been much cooler and with the spring-breakers, it definitely does not have that "family feel" here as it has in the past summers we've visited. Yet, we've eaten some good food, taken lots of pictures, rested a lot and most of all enjoyed each other.

Thought I'd post this quick update and post a few of my favorite pictures so far. Dad just got these uploaded to the computer and I wanted to share a couple of good ones. The one above is us at the new Pier Park. It is a great little shopping center with restaurants, etc. We found Jimmy Buffett's new Margaritaville restaurant and had to stop in for a "cheeseburger in Paradise". It was a really neat place and one of my favorite stops of this trip.

A couple of the other pictures are of the boys (one of them "surfing" and then one of them on the beach this morning before heading out to eat. I thought they looked so good in their button down shirts and blue jean shorts I just couldn't pass up the photo opportunity!) The other is of the sunset from our condo balcony. We have seen some very pretty sunsets! Hope you enjoy. We look forward to seeing those of you in Henderson really soon!!! Please keep us in your prayers for safe travel as we make our way home on Friday!
