Happy Easter!!!

I hoped for one good family Easter picture. This is as good as it gets folks! :)

The boys after church on Easter Sunday.

Jagger was so proud of his Power Ranger the Easter Bunny left in his basket!

We had a lot of fun this Easter. We did nothing traditional--well, except for egg hunt in our backyard.

The Easter Bunny did make a stop at our house with a little candy, a transformer for Lawson and Power Ranger for Jagger. They also got a few new water guns, sidewalk chalk and bubbles. They were thrilled with their goodies and didn't want to stop playing to get ready for church. We assured them that in the afternoon when the sun warmed everything up somewhat we would definitely put everything to use!

After coming in off of a long trip we had very few groceries in the house. We had "Easter Pizza" at our house for lunch Sunday after church! After we ate, Brandon returned to his landscaping project (more to come on that later!) while the kids went down from an early nap. When the kids woke up we took them outside and did the egg hunt. We actually did it twice because Brandon wanted his turn at hiding the eggs. The boys loved it. We colored with the chalk, blew TONS of bubbles and enjoyed the day so much! We stayed out all afternoon playing. We ALL loved it.

At one point Jagger asked me to draw the Easter Bunny with the chalk. I gave it my best shot and it was pretty good--at least for me--I thought. However, I don't think my artist husband had that much faith in me. I looked over only to catch him drawing an ELABORATE bunny with HIS chalk! He said he just knew Jagger wanted a rabbit and that...and then he stopped. Just short of saying that he didn't think mine would resemble a rabbit. Ha. We have laughed about this since yesterday. I must say that I got somewhat of a big head when Jagger was not interested with dad's rabbit but was more impressed with my feeble attempt. :)

It turned out to be a great Easter even without all the traditional food, etc. We may have to start our own Easter "pizza" tradition!
