Easter fun...a little early.

Today was my first experience with doing holiday parties at school. I kept thinking and worrying all morning that I would lose track of time and be late to Lawson's Easter party. Luckily I made it there on time and had such a good time with all of these kids. We had snacks first. Ms. Joyce amazes me. She is so good with each and every child! I loved watching how everything works around there. Each child has a job for the day and they do their jobs without complaining or grumbling--even emptying the trash, setting the table and washing down the table after snacks. (It was Lawson's job to wash down the table and he kept telling Ms. Brenda that he was doing such a good job--and he was! :) )They each were responsible for throwing their own plate away and pushing their chairs up to the tables. They sat with their Easter baskets and buckets and waited patiently for their instructions for the egg hunt. There was no pushing or fighting. They all hunted eggs together and helped each other find their "special egg" with their very own name on it. I definitely could not do what Ms. Joyce does each and every day but I am so thankful she is there to do it! She does a great job!

Above are a few pictures that I took while I was there. Lawson has two very good friends, Carter and Cade. The day just wouldn't have been complete without getting their picture and I figured this blog about Lawson's day wouldn't have been complete without sharing those pictures. I am so thankful that I was able to go and be a part of their special day!
