Good times!

How much fun can we possibly have? A LOT! I tend to be a little too reserved sometimes and take myself too seriously. I always say that I learn many things from my kids--they can teach a lot if we are willing to be taught! I have learned that when I let go, give in to their pleas, and act a little silly, I end up having the most fun of all. I am SO thankful for the fun they bring to my life and that they teach me daily to stop and enjoy the fun little moments of life! :) Here's wishing you all the fun little moments the day has to offer. Please stop to enjoy them!

Let's Hear It For the Boys!!!

Yay!! I was so excited about this week's theme at iHeartFaces! Why? Because my life is engulfed with so many WONDERFUL boys! While I was excited I quickly switched gears to uncertainty; how will I EVER choose what photo to use??? Oh, well. Here's what I came up with. This is pretty recent. For the kids' category I chose this one of the baby. He looks so big and how much more "boy" can you get than a night at the ball park? :)

I've never done an adult entry; mainly because my little ones are the subject of my photos. However, I did get this picture of hubby while on vacation. As you can see he has a camera in hand lots of times, too. I couldn't think of a more perfect face for the adult entry than my best friend! (And what a handsome face at that!) :) Head over to iheartfaces to see some pretty amazing photos!

My camera is FIXED!

Since my camera is now working again I decided Friday was a beautiful day--perfect for playing with the camera. Here are a few that I was able to snap. My boys sure love being outside!

My old Kentucky trip

We visited the Inez family over Memorial weekend. We had a great trip. We were so please to see how well Brandon's dad was doing. We got to spend time with the Auxiers (who live in New Mexico) so that was a plus! We attempted a trip out on the lake but when the boat wouldn't start we had to go to plan B. We had a cookout up at Bruce's cabin complete with hotdogs and smores. What a wonderful way to spend the weekend!

How to make a 9+ hour trip bearable

How do we manage a 9+ hour car trip with three wild boys? A big bag of tricks! Luckily, my two biggies are wonderful travelers! Lawson LOVES to draw and kept himself quite busy with that on the way. Jagger watched DVDs and as long as I was sitting next to Rhett he was pretty good as well. I love these pictures of Lawson drawing. He has such a love of it! Guess he gets that from his (extremely) talented daddy!
