Good friends

I didn't notice it but Harrison is holding on to Rhett's hand in this pic! So sweet!

We had the privilege of having our bible class friends over to our house last weekend. Some very special friends, Cory and Laura Beth Lamb who are missionaries in the Dominican were home for the holidays. They chose to spend their evening with us and we were so blessed! We had a house full of people which we love. The kids all played very well together but it did come at a price. We had to swim through a sea of toys to even find our children at the end of the night!

Many of our guests had to leave early due to bedtimes for school aged children, etc. so we got a little "quiet" time with a few special friends. I say "quiet" because it was hardly that! My boys were a little keyed up from having friends over and had a ball playing with Ms. Ashley and Mr. Jason! These two are so good with the kids! They are really a special couple!

We also had a little fun with the XBox and everyone was good sports and sang a song on the American Idol except for me. I get very self conscious and wouldn't sing in front of everyone! =)

But we had a ball and are so thankful for this town where we live, our church friends who are really family rather than friends!
