Quotes for the week...

As you know, kids can be quite entertaining! Lately I have been blessed with extremely expressive and entertaining children! They have come up with some pretty funny things to say lately. I thought some of you might enjoy hearing their insights on their world according to them.

1)Lawson has had many questions about the new baby, how he will get here, etc. I think he has finally adjusted some to the fact that the doctor will have to use a knife; however, does not think the doctor is as capable of doing this as he is. He showed me his plastic "Rambo" knife and said he would just go ahead and cut the baby out himself because he would take better care of me than the doctor. So sweet and terrifying all at the same time!!!

2)Again, with questions about the new baby, Lawson asked when was he in my belly? I told him 5 years ago. He sat back, breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Whew!!! I sure am glad I got to come out of there--it was all GREEN and SLIMY!!!"

3)Lawson has been telling us lately that he doesn't want to go back to FL because he is scared of the big water. Jagger was asking him a couple of nights ago why he didn't want to go back. Lawson answered him with, "I don't want to talk about it". Since then, Jagger begins every conversation with Lawson with, "Do you want to talk about it?" He has even asked us that once or twice. Don't know of many two year olds that ask if you want to talk about something! :)

4)On the way home from church Sunday night, out of the blue Lawson told us he sure hoped Rhett didn't bother him as much as Jagger bothered him. He sat quietly, thinking and then concluded, "I just hope he bothers Jagger as much as Jagger bothers ME!" Guess what goes around will come around. Ha.

5)Yesterday, Jagger accompanied mom and dad on an outing to Jackson. Dad and Jagger were in the waiting room of the chiropractor's office waiting for mom and dad said Jagger was in full swing singing Guitar Hero songs and Rocky top to three girls that were also in the waiting room. One of the girls asked him what his name was and without hesitation he said "Alvin"! Dad had to explain that he and my mom had recently bought them Alvin and the Chipmunks and he must think he's Alvin! I definitely can see some similarities! :)

6)Yesterday Rhett's new bedding arrived. We took some of it out to look at it. I laid the comfertor out on the crib and Jagger came in and said with so much enthusiasm, "WOW!!!! I lub Rhett's room! It beauful!!!!!" So precious!

I love the spice and fun and entertainment that my kids add to my life. I just thought that these stories were too cute not to share. You never know what they will say next and it keeps me on my toes in anticipation!

Hilarious..I laughed out loud to myself. I love the things kids come up with. I hope you wrote those down in a book somewhere too. It will be great to look back when the boys are older and read the funny/sweet things they said.
