A visit with friends on the farm.

Today, mom, the boys and I made a trip to visit friends in Columbia. My former boss, Barry, moved there a little over a year ago. We have been wanting to go and visit ever since his family moved there but never got the chance. When I started my maternity leave I vowed that I was going to make every moment count by going places and visiting our favorite people.

They boys adore Mr. Barry. He took them around on his farm. They got to see the cows, take a tractor ride, see Mr. Carter's cabin, see the creek, pick apples to feed horses, etc. They had a ball! They were both crying before we even pulled out of the driveway to come home! Jagger said, "I miss him already!" Mr. Barry has made buddies for life I feel sure.

The cows used to live in the field behind our house. When we first moved to this house the boys loved to sit at the glass door and watch the cows. They missed them when Mr. Barry moved them. They were excited to see them again. They walked right up to the cows and one cow looked at the boys as if she recognized them. Ha.

Mrs. Tina and Ms. Haley spent the day looking after Rhett. They said he was a very good boy. Guess it is easy to be good for such sweet ladies.

I'm thankful for friends that we keep in touch with, for boys who were mostly well behaved, for a mom that made the day trip with me and for weather that held off so we could enjoy time outside for a while. Here are some pictures from our day.
Mr. Barry and his biggest fans!
