Life just got a little more hectic for the Young family. Last Monday was my first day back to work after a very extended (and APPRECIATED) maternity leave. I have enjoyed every second I was able to spend with my precious boys! (Well, every second that Rhett wasn't crying! Ha.)
My first two days back to work I worked full days. Since then, I've only worked half-days--from 8 to 12. I'm very blessed to work in a place like I do. Family importance is emphasized. I am allowed to go home on my breaks and nurse Rhett. That has been such a blessing. I was able to do that with Jagger and was so grateful! That is such a special bond that I'm glad I don't have to give up just because I return to work.
Being back at work has been nice in ways. It wasn't too hectic and didn't seem like it took me long to get back into the swing of things. I have to say that my friends and family made all the difference in the world and showed me what an AMAZING support group I have! I'm so blessed!! A half hour after being at work that first day I got an email from a friend letting me know she was thinking of me. From that point on I Facebook messages and phone calls were rained down on me. How special to know I have that kind of love and support! Thanks to ALL of you who called or sent messages--it meant SO much to me!
Being back at work has made life a little crazier trying to work on new schedules and such but I'm confident that we'll soon find our "groove". :)
